Last year, I think I showed off my desktop here and I thought it was rather spiffy, so I decided to try again this year. This is my current desktop:

The information at the bottom is from a program called Stattoo and it's free and it's pretty cool to just hit F11 or glance at my desktop to look at stuff. Yay information. Plus, I can close all my windows and stuff and still know what's going on at a glance. Enough of that. If you look at my desktop from last year and compare it with this year's, you'll notice I have less programs on my dock. I have a program called Overflow that I got from voting on MyDreamApp and it's a neat program launcher, since I don't like QuickSilver and Spotlight seems to have died on me. One keypress and it's like a second dock with programs I use somewhat frequently, but not frequently enough keep on my dock.

And Adium's the same, just with way more friends.

All in all, I'm proud of my desktop this year. It am snazzy!

Edit: I spruced up a little bit.

It stopped indexing stuff, even after I did the "remove your hard drive from the indexing list and put it back on" trick.

I give up, i know where shit is anyway.

I love spotlight...even if I do know where something is I generally use spotlight.

You can force spotlight to reindex the drive if you want. In Terminal: sudo mdutil -E /
