I had a roommate in college like that. Would bring food back, and slurp as he ate. Got on my last nerves.

Yes and No. Yes because apparently he can't chew like a normal human being. No because it can be kinda normal to eat in bed late at night. I mean, I do sometimes if I get hungry and feel like being comfortable in bed at the same time. Eh, but yeah, I know the whole chewing thing can be annoying because of the way my dad chews. My mom, sister, and I can not even eat in the same room as him at home; it's bad.

Depends if he's eating like a bag of chips or a tiramasu.
Althought he chewing with the mouth open is always unforgiveable under all circumstances.
