Fuck the Mets!

As a note, I hate the Yankees. But, any team that decimates the Mets is a team worth cheering for, at least for one day. One can almost hear the tiny squeal of air escaping from Mr. Met's enormous, balloon-like head. Alex Rodriguez led the Yankees to a 16-7 demolition of their crosstown rival with a grand slam and seven RBIs on Sunday...Rodriguez, who earlier in the day made his league's All-Star roster for the 10th time, also had a three-run homer. Meanwhile, the Mets were receiving the news that Pedro Martinez will miss his scheduled start Monday night for the New York Mets because of a sore hip. Oy. (thank you again Deadspin!)

I hate the Yankees too...luckily my hate for the mets is more just because they're in first place. Sooo yeah, go yanks lol

By the way, it's good to see them fighting Phils take advantage of this minor slide to fall to 11 games behind the first place Mets! Wooo, such excitement!

That icon has got to be the funniest one I've seen in a long time.

And the Mets suck. They'll crumble down the stretch, opening the door for the Braves to reclaim the NL East title.

I love the Phillies more than the Phanatic, but seriously - this is a lost season.

Hey Cory, thanks for the advice on the show name, I totally SUCK at coming up with good names. My boyfriend also told me that both of those names sucked. But that's ok, my co-host & I will keep thinking. We're bound to come up with something good eventually.
